Lily Aldridge last week promoting the Victoria’s Secret annual fashion show, hair by me. I love Lily!
Another new favorite, Oribe Apres Beach.
Use this on naturally wavy or curly hair while damp, and diffuse or air-dry for beachy texture with shine. Or spray through the ends of freshly dried and curled hair for a textured look without the dryness or gritty feeling other surf sprays leave.
Preferably, use as instructed:
Shake. Spray on wet or dry hair. Tousle to taste and let dry in the St. Tropez air. Follow with lipstick and heels.
RODIN by RECINE hair oil is the bomb, easily the most effective and versatile oil I’ve used. I was given a sample of this by a friend and had it for months before I realized what I had!
You can use this oil as a hair treatment or a styling aid, depending on the amount and application. As a treatment, it would be great overnight before a shampoo in the morning. I like to use this combined with some curl cream before I air-dry my hair. This oil also works well for styling and blowdrying although you have to use it sparingly, it even comes with a little dropper to dispense the oil.
This blend of 8 essential oils smells AMAZING, and it works without a lot of residue. My new favorite.

Here’s my client Thomas Dekker at the premiere of the new HBO Original Movie Cinema Verite with hair cut and color by me. We did this just a couple of hours before the pictures were taken.
Cinema Verite tells the story of the Loud family’s rise to fame in the early 1970’s. Thomas plays the family’s oldest son Lance Loud who became known as a gay icon for having his eccentric lifestyle revealed on the family’s documentary series “An American Life.”
Still have to catch it on HBO, also starring Diane Lane who I love!
